What to wear for class

 Ballet Classes:

Shoes: Pink professional quality ballet shoes. (Canvas shoes are recommended.) We request that dancers DO NOT wear low quality ballet shoes because they hinder your child’s ability to have correct foot placement.

Leotards and tights are required for all ballet classes.

Hair pulled back in a bun or ponytail.

Note- Ballet is a disciplined and structured form of dance. The appropriate attire will allow the Instructor to accurately correct a dancer's placement.

 

  Tiny tots, Kinder Combo and Combo Classes:

Tights, Leotard, (Skirt optional).

Combos will also need tap shoes.

Hair pulled back in a bun or ponytail.

For Boys:  Athletic wear and appropriate dance shoes.

 

Tap Classes:

Shoes: Tap shoes.

Any color leotard and tights or tank tops and jazz pants or shorts (optional).

Hair pulled back in a bun or ponytail.

 

Jazz Classes:

Shoes:  Tan jazz shoes.

Any color leotard and tights. Tank tops and jazz pants or shorts optional.

No baggy clothing.

Hair pulled back in a bun or ponytail.

 

Lyrical Classes:

Shoes: Canvas or leather pirouettes shoes.

Stirrup tights and any color leotard.

Skirt or dance shorts optional.

Hair pulled back in a bun or ponytail.

 

Hip Hop Classes:

Shoes: Clean Converse shoes. 

Hip-Hop shoes can only be worn in the studio.  No street shoes. 

Athletic wear.  No big sweatshirts.
